BEIMUN (Beirut Model United Nations) is a student-led conference initiative based in Beirut, Lebanon. We are not a registered commercial entity. References to "we", "us", or "BEIMUN" in this policy refer to the BEIMUN organising team.

When you submit the delegate registration form, we collect:
If you log into the delegate portal, we also store an authentication record (email address and encrypted password or magic-link token) via our authentication provider, Supabase.
We collect this data solely for the purpose of organising BEIMUN and managing your participation. Specifically:
We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or any purpose unrelated to the conference. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for their own use.
Delegate data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted by Supabase (Supabase Inc., USA), which provides row-level security, encrypted connections (TLS), and access controls that restrict data to authorised team members only.
A copy of each registration is also mirrored to a private Google Sheet accessible only to the BEIMUN secretariat, for internal tracking purposes.
All data is processed and stored in accordance with the data protection terms of these providers. Links to their privacy policies:
We retain your personal data for the duration of the conference cycle (up to and including BEIMUN '26) and for a reasonable period afterwards for administrative purposes, not exceeding 12 months after the conference date.
After that period, personal data will be deleted or anonymised unless we are required by law to retain it longer.

This website uses a single session cookie set by Supabase to keep you logged into the delegate portal. No third-party tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics scripts are used.
BEIMUN is open to middle school, high school, and university delegates. Where a delegate is under 18, we encourage a parent or guardian to review this policy. If you believe a minor's data has been submitted without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately.
We may update this policy as the conference develops. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered delegates. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
